91. Round Madeira Island Race - Surf Skis welcome

We can confirm that surf ski paddlers are welcome to participate in the 2007 Round Madeira Race.  We were concerned that this might not be the case - the event website says that only sea kayaks are allowed.  However, Rui Drummond of the organizing committee has explicitly confirmed that surf skis will be eligible to race.

Breaking news: South Africans dominated the paddle categories of the 2007 Multiplex Avon Descent in Western Australia this weekend.  Sven Bruss won the singles, while brothers Daryl and Brett Bartho beat local rivals Ash Nesbit and Marcus Brockhurst in the team event.
