The only problem

We have ofcourse a problem, and that is that the boats from the epic factory seems to be copied. Since we found a carbon layup honeycomb 18 foot kayak in our club with almost the excact look of endurance 18. And the price? almost 1/3 of the original, with the same layup. Be careful Oscar and Greg. This will case problems in Norway! - Guest

Oscar says that he would recommend the V10 Sport; it\'ll be much more stable than the V10, but less stable than the Epic 16. He said that he\'s expecting a shipment to South Africa by April - no idea about Australia. - Guest

At 75kg I wonder if I should go for the V10L or V10 Sport. I like the idea of increased stability, currently I paddle an Epic 16 instead of epic 18 sea kayak in order to get more stability. I am in Sydney, when do we get our shipment of v10 sport? - Guest

lifetime warranty??

Fine, so cyclists pay big bucks for their bikes, but then most frames have a lifetime warranty. ie if your frame shows signs of cracking etc then it will be replaced free of charge. Somehow I don\'t see Oscar replacing your ski when it folds in half after bottoming out in a wave. Don\'t use analogies that don\'t fit, Oscar! Realistically the huge increase in price is because that\'s what the ski\'s can command in the US. To the local SA paddler who supported Epic in it\'s early days... thanks, too bad, so sad... - Guest

China??

very interesting story..I\'ll bet China is building the Epics now...seems many boats are being outsoursed to China and what I\'ve seen is incredible craftsmanship and probably for very low wages.. - Guest
