But I can tell you that David\'s XT is a 2005 model with the rudder cables going down the center of the hull. - Guest

Re water storage and chaffing

Hi David,
What year is your XT, mine is a 2004 XT with the rudder cables going to the outside not the centre as yours apears to do. Not sure if the seat shape is different as I looked at it closely today when out on the water and I on mine I could only fit a 50mm od plug , any bigger would be right under my thighs and touching the back of my legs even if slightly splayed or not

Chaffing issue?

David responds:
This is the second reference regarding chapped thighs. I can\'t see a problem myself as the foot wells are spaced so that our thighs are splayed and miss the hatch cover.
I wear shorts anyway so this is not even a consideration to me. - Guest

XT water bladder

Hi
I too have an XT and have been considering my water storage options. I love this solution however wonder if it would chafe the back of ones thighs.

Has this been the case for you ?

I am on the last hole of the foot adjustment for a good fist clearance under my knees and when I look at where the back of my thighs rest on the seat and the location of the hatch it looks like a chaffing issue.
Regards

What a great solution to a problem that is vexing me. Is this a DIY job or did you have it done professionally?
