			<title>Quality</title>

<description>I also bought a Fenn Millenium and found some small manufacturing imperfections but nothing serious. What was annoying are the scratches and marks that must have happened during transportation and shop storage. This is plain carelessness (no names mentioned), guys how about glueing carpet strips onto your metal shelves. Another thing, the retailer installed the rudder cables which promptly came loose on my first paddle. Lucky the wind was light or it could have been the end of my brand new ski.

			<title>level of service</title>

<description>It\'s interesting to note that Tom\'s ski was late. I recently had to wait 3 months for my Fenn Mako Millenium, much later then promised. Extremely long waiting lists/lead times seem to be the norm in the surfski and canoe industries - why is this? Also the quality on my ski was not 100%, small chips in the gelcoat etc, small issues I know, but easy to fix and annoying when you pay 100% good cash for a 98% good ski. What have other readers experienced? - Guest</description>

			<title>Cross-chop/long distance</title>
			<link>http://www.surfski.info/content/view/182/156/#pc_267</link>
<description>Tom says it\'s comfortable, which I guess is the most important thing for long distance.
We diced with each other in two recent races where there was cross-chop and awkward runs coming from behind on the quarter. Apart from the issue of the cockpit filling up (which they are addressing by raising the rails) the ski goes very well in those conditions.
The only time I seemed to have a clear advantage was in really big waves going downwind (I was on a V10) and again Tom thought that this was probably because he was carrying about 10kg of water.
