Hey Stuart! I understand the draw will take place on 15 October, six weeks ahead of the event itself.
And yeah, anyone can win - except the race organisers and the administrators of this website

Watch this spot. This is just the beginning of what the Dubai boys will be doing in the next couple of years if they are true to form. They will take it to the next level.
Having paddled with them and lived alongside them for 3 years , let me tell you if you only get to 1 race off shore this year make it this one.
All the best Wayyno.
Miss you guys

Of all the lucky draws this has to be mine.
Come on tired of being land locked and you've just seen what what the expats based in Switzerland can do on the sea.
Got a challenge going with JB and Butch but need a boat.

profile update

The module that we used to enable profiles seems to be giving some problems to some people. We're working on it!

Please don't hesitate to email us at info@surfski.info if you are experiencing issues with registering or updating your profile. Josh - I'll contact you direct.

We want everyone in the world to have a chance at this awesome prize...

And Christo - the V10E only comes in black! That's the colour of the material used... It looks awesome and... I paddled Oscar's V10E yesterday here in Durban and the thing is just incredible. It feels as though your paddle stays in one spot as you pull and the boat leaps forward past it! - Rob Mousley

I've been drooling all over my keyboard writing up the competition details. This competition really pushes surfskiing onto... actually.. beyond the next level . Well done to GD and the guys in Dubai, your massive vision for the sport and your energy to make it happen is streets ahead of anywhere else in the world. I look forward to the draw, someone is going to have the experience of a lifetime... bummer it's not going to be me.

You have all got it wrong. Only a lady deserves to be paddling a supa light ski like the V10Elite. It will belong to a true Durban ski paddler. I will be this year's Shamaal Anchorlady!! 8) - jackie

You guys in Dubai are kicking butt. Congratulations on the 2007 event. All the boys want to come over - I am comming - but am coming free, as you guessed it - I will be the ANCHORMAN. Yes Sir - flights, parties, Dubai Action and the ski - will suit me fine as a year end reward. That ski in Port Elizabeth is going to turn heads - especially on top of my VW 1987 Beetle. Bring it on. - Turtle
