Cheers Ian - Ian Kingon Sat, 22 Dec 2007 18:54:22 +0100 http://www.surfski.info/content/view/602/147/#pc_1890 Couldn't be more pleased for my man DB: he was up front at the US Ski Champs in SF but stuffed up his line heading home and finished 5th, he and his brother Wes came close at the SA Doubles Champs (2nd), he was right there in Dubai (6th) and in Perth (2nd)...Everyone knows what a brilliant all-around paddler Daryl is and he's won more than a few big races but to come through in a high profile WC race after a bunch of 'close but no cigar' performances is really cool. Not only because DB is a great paddler, but he's also a humble and classy guy...who happens to make world class sushi.
