Yes they are in business and making money is the bottom line for any business, but DeAnne goes beyond the sale and really helped me with my purchase of a ski. She not only recommended the right ski for me, but also assured me of a prompt and safe delivery to Hawaii. DeAnne represents the surf ski sport on the highest level...and yes, she can paddle with the best of them! I will use either a Mako 6 or Mako XT, depending on the conditions predicted that day. If its going off, then I would always choose the more stable ski(4 hours , its a good idea for me)I love the XT and have had good results on it at other events. I am probably the only one there that will have 2 skis to choose from... With regards to the Legend, I have paddled it twice here in Cal and I really liked it. I have not had the conditions yet to test in a big downwind, so until then, I have to stick with what I know.
