I have got to know Daw man very well with running the Varsity College Surfskischool in Durban. You hit the nail on the head Rob, he is always the loudest dood and always having a huge jol, especially at the school. He passion for the sport is huge and inspires me to go harder every time I hit the water.

Ps, I see some new CAT logo's on Daw's boat in these photo's? Daw have you landed a new sponsor, hope so, you deserve it!

Dawid has played a huge role in the development of our sport. My first surfski experience (like thousands of others) was on one of Dawid's Surfskischool hammerheads on Fish Hoek beach. Dawid and Nikki's enthusiasm and passion for the sport is infectious and it is that passion that created surfski.info.

Thanks Daw, you sowed the seed for surfski.info and it is a great privilege to feature your profile as the lead story. All the best for the Molokai, for ThePaddlingCentre, for Mocke brand, for Surfskischool and especially for Nikki's olympics. - Alain Jaques

Any chance Dawid can expand on the "paddle" part of his training program?

It's great to see such a high profile paddler so involved in the development of the sport.

After Dawid's massive "coming from behind" effort to beat McGregor at Shamaal 2007, my money is on Dawid to win Molokai. All the best Dawid! - Craig van Heerden

Dawid has his priorities in order. No wonder why he is as good as he is. The gift that he has is a blessing and he is more than happy to share his faith and his knowable with anyone who is willing to listen. Maybe someday I will have the privilege to be pasted by Dawid…lol.
I have enjoyed reading the profiles of all the paddlers surfski.info has showcased. I will be watching the Molokai for sure this yr!
