Hi Ash - Sounds fun. I spent a lot of time up their with Goran from Sweden and Thomas Zachert from germany who you got the ski off in the early 1990's. (I think you may have got Thomas's name wrong in the article). I taught Goran and Thomas how to Paddle and Swear like a an Australian. Thomas often did not know where to swear in English which produced some hilarious moments. We all competed at the Worlds in Travamunde Germany 6 months after the wall came down in 1990. The wall actually finished on the beach we were competing on and they were shooting people as they swam from one side of germnay to the other 6 months before we got there. We came third in a Taplin to Surfers and Cronulla when we all competing for an English Club Perranporth. All that Perranporth crew are now going back to compete in Waramunde in 5 weeks time 18 years later. Bit of a Worry ! - Craig Fisher
