When the manufacturers start getting behind the sport, everyone stands to gain. Just look at surfing to see when it really started taking off . . . and we don't have a scarcity of our resource which can cause surfing breaks to become overcrowded. As a paddler (and a surfer) this is an exciting period that paddling is going through!
