I think the surfski world should take notice of Brendan Sarson's performance over the Avon. Brendan comes from a very strong lifesaving backround and is slowly taking up the challenge of long distance races. We saw him take the sprint event at the Perth World cup last year and i am sure that he will be one to watch leading into the Ausi races early next year with the Perth Race in his back yard. Well done Lighty and Ash for cleaning pipes. With the awesome organising team i saw on the Avon this year i am sure this race will grow in the future. This is certainly a race worth doing!
