«

Well finally got tired of my home made hip pads and decided to order from Epic.
Check out my blog for the pics. I will report back on the performance when I get
a chance to test them.

I've used the Epic hip pads; For those unfamiliar with their product it's a neoprene pouch with a velcroed flap that allows you to up to up to three pieces of shaped foam in the pouch to take up the slack. The pouch has double sided tape to attach it to the ski. I found the pouch started detaching itself from the tape after a few paddles and removed it. Cleaning up the tape residue was a mission (had to use acetone). I went back to using foam and contact adhesive. No problems at all!
