Sat 10^th November marked the season premier for the Southern California race series. Warm, sunny weather made for great conditions at La Jolla Shores, San Diego where the event was staged. With more than 250 competitors attending, it was sure to be a fast paced race from the start.

W Australia: Competitors were treated to an unusually calm Cape in this years running of the King of the Cape. In what was a rare occurrence for this part of the coast, the usual strong south westers and big swell were replaced by moderate offshores and flat seas.

11 Nov 2007 Granger Bay, Cape Town, South Africa: Dawid Mocke today won the "Powerade Race", the 5^th race in the Cape Discovery Men's Health Series, using a new design ski from Fenn Kayaks, the Mako Elite.

Although the Bartho brothers won Day 2 by 33 seconds, the Mocke brothers won on total elapsed time and brought home the SA Doubles title.
