Cape Town, South Africa. The Cape 2006/2007 summer season saw the inaugural “Garmin Millers Run Challenge” being run by surfski.info, with sponsorship from Avnec Trading, the South African agents for Garmin.

The rules are simple – to claim a record for the notorious Millers Run, all you have to do is send your GPS data for verification to Surfski.info.

Hank McGregor triumphed in the Discovery Winklespruit surf ski race in very tough and demanding surf conditions that saw less than twenty percent of the field successfully completing the 15 kilometer race.
