What's happening this Tuesday? Yes its partner's night, this means it will be great if you invite your significant other to come down for a great evening in Hout Bay. Let them join in on the fun!

Now if you haven't realised that this Tuesday is Valentine's Day. It's time for you to start planning the evening's activities. To get into the swing of things before you head off for that candlelit dinner, you want to make sure you start off in Hout Bay on the water or for a drink afterwards.

RACE 16 Smith Tabata Buchanan Boyes
Presented by Fast Fuel

Registration 17:00 - 18:10
Race will start 18:15
Course: Long +-10km and Short +-5km

No Life Jacket = No Paddle!

The never-ending wind seems to be calming down at last. But you never know until Tuesday evening what its doing. It's time to make alternative plans if a howling South Easter is blowing. We will try and move the venue to Oceana Power Boat Club, to stop you getting withdrawal symptoms from missing a Tuesday evening paddle.

Make sure you have everything ready before you head off to work.

Networks Unlimited Team Challenge 2006

Last year's winners Lakeside Bottom Feeders are keeping a low profile.
What could the Trautmann be up to as he recruits his paddlers to defend their title?

Strandlopers, all the way from Strand, have confirmed that they will be there to take the challenge for the top spot. Hertbert Conradie has been holding trials to pick his strongest team.

Team Woodies from Hout Bay has Trevor Stander in charge. He is keeping things close to his chest as he tries to find the best combinations.

Billy Harker has taken charge of the Town Clowns. All very quite there, what could he be up to?

City Slickers has new leadership as Michael Giles will be overseas getting ready for the next set of races in the America's Cup build up.
Lisa Scott has kindly taken on the challenge of putting together a team.
We wait and see who will be in the team.

The West Coast Hillbillies have a new captain at the helm. Richard Kohler has taken over from Boris "Dawg Shooter" Hales. Not sure why?
Guess we will find out soon what their strategy is.
Dominic Strano was not so happy that Team South Easters didn't make it to the start line last year and has taken up the challenge to organise a team. This could be a team to watch out for!

Team Urban Surprise. Hmmm surprise!

Surfski Safety Recommendations
Seafaring is more enjoyable with knowledge. Following these guidelines does not guarantee your safety on the ocean, but will help.
THE GOLDEN RULE: NEVER LEAVE YOUR CRAFT. It is your most reliable form of buoyancy and will indicate where you are to rescue craft.
