Sports World Nelson Mandela Bay and Dare2Paddle bring you a winter down wind surf ski series for the Eastern Cape starting 20th May 2006 with an away weekend to Cape St Francis for race 1. Over R10,000 worth of prizes for the introductory race of the new series, with a full breakdown of prizes and rules available on the website www.dare2.net.

Race 1 is being sponsored by the Cape St Francis Resort and as such, they have put together some fantastic accommodation specials to enable out of town paddlers to come down for the weekend and stay over. The opening weekend will consist of 2 races, Sat 20th will see a long course (12-15km) race and a short course (5km) race, these will then be followed by a race on Sunday 21st sponsored by Pam Golding.

The Sports World Winter Down Wind Series will consist of 6 races between May and August, with the overall series winner collecting R2,000 cash.
