World Cup 2nd day GPS coordinates
written by Martin, October 27, 2006
Given that last year's race conditions were pretty hectic, it was hard to determine whether you were going in the right direction when searching for the first marker buoy to turn at. It was common for the intermediate paddlers to be unable to spot other paddlers for a reference.

The GPS coordinates for the key marker buoys would hence be a great help for the competitors. This data was forwarded to me by a competitor from last years event. Plot them on Google Earth for a route map. I certainly will lock in the buoy coordinates for this years event.

Race start - 32? 0'7.70"S 115?33'1.13"E

1st buoy that you have to go around( Fairway land marker ) 31?57'8.50"S 115?38'51.30"E

2nd buoy ( South Cardinal Marker) 31?52'43.70"S 115?42'59.70"E

Finish at Hillary's Harbour 31?49'20.16"S 115?44'24.34"E
