The dates for the Australian Surf Ski World Cup have been changed to 8th/9th December 2007.

This is due to a clash of dates with the Dubai Shamaal race due to be held on 29th November. 

Day 1 will be the open ocean downwind route from Rottnest Island to Hillary's; Day 2 will be a shorter route, details TBA.

Seems that Dean may have made an oversight, but the Shamaal in Dubai is scheduled for the 29th Nov and has been for quite some time. This will split the top paddlers as it will essentially be impossible to compete at a high level in both.

Perhaps he should consider moving this so that, as was the case last year, paddlers could do Perth and then come to Dubai?

We are very sorry but the organizing comittee didnt realize Dubai race was going to be on that day.
We have now changed to the 2nd weekend in December 8th and 9th.
