Olympic silver medalist and former ace surf ski paddler Nathan
Baggaley was arrested on Monday evening, July 2, 2007, when he attempted to
return a ski allegedly stolen earlier in the evening from Byron Bay Surf Life
Saving Club.
Steroid Use
Baggaley is already in deep trouble with the Australian authorities . He was banned for two years in
2005 after taking two banned steroids, stanozolol and methandienone. (He claimed he'd sipped some juice belonging to
his brother that contained the drugs.)
Caught with Ecstasy
Tablets
In February this year the Gold Coast police stopped a car
that allegedly contained both Baggaley and a large quantity of cash and ecstasy
tablets. A few days later, following a
raid on his home, Baggaley was charged
with manufacturing ecstasy tablets after a pill press was found at his home.

Very sad,for all of the previous ski legends from the bay, Billy Winter, Graeme Timperly, Barry Kelly, Peter Clarke, Kurt Tutt et al.
Being a northcoast local myself I am most disturbed.
