THE BRITISH OPEN FLAT WATER SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS 2007

Date: September 29 and 30, 2007

Venue: Cardiff Bay Water Activities Centre

Entry Fee: 5 pound per seat per day

List of Events:

Long Distance – Saturday, 29th September

• An open 10k race with categories for Mens, Ladies and Under 18s. This race will also include the final leg of SLSA GB's Long Distance Ski Series (members of SLSA on ILS spec. skis only) and a category for Sea Kayaks (no regular k1s sorry!)
• An open 5k race for juniors and novices A Guppy race for junior members

Sprints – Sunday, 30th September

• Open sprint races for Single and Double Skis and Sea Kayaks – Men, Ladies, Under 18, Under 16.
• Guppy races for Under 14s.

This event is recognised by The Surf Life Saving Association of GB, The Royal Life Saving Association UK and The UK Sea Kayaking Association.

Forgot to add we are trying to get a pool of skis together to lend out to the travelling paddler. Will probabley be ILS spec skis, but make contact to enquire.
