Surfski.Info has grown to be a site with a tremendous amount of information and technology behind it. I am unashamedly a technology freak so when I see something cool I like to incorporate it into this site.

Did you know for instance that you can browse a scaled down version of surfski.info from your cell phone or other mobile device? Well you can, and it works pretty well. That is because we installed some very clever software that detects what browser you are using, and if you are using a mobile device then the server sends you the mobile device version of surfski.info. OK it is not as pretty as the full site, but it is much better than trying to fit the whole site onto a tiny screen.

During the New York Mayor's Cup we were told that some of the race organisers were keeping up to date with the race progress by following our live coverage of the race on their cell phones.

Try it out next time you are in a boring meeting.
