It appears that the big O, as he's affectionately known, is retiring from surfski paddling at the top of his game.  Unconfirmed reports suggest that he's tackling a much bigger challenge...

Anyone involved in surfski paddling knows that Oscar Chalupsky's belief in himself is supreme - there's nothing that he can't do; no competition that he can't win.  But has he bitten off more that he can chew this time?

Ja nee, die ander dag ek het met Oscar gesels toe hy se, " I will retire when I get to fifty I think I'm getting you old for this, besides I have to give these guys a chance.
My back swing improved... maybe I will go play PGA golf instead, there easy money in it...but I'll see when I'm fifty!"
Maar dit lyk as die Groet O sal ook die Americaan problem uitdeel...hy is seker beter as Chuck Norris!
