There's a great lineup for the second Chicago Shoreline Marathon this weekend - South Africans Dawid & Nikki Mocke and Steve Woods have continued their tour from San Francisco; last year's winner Erik Borgnes will be there as will our favorite adventure writer, New Yorker Joe Glickman.

The Marathon
The 25 mile race (on Saturday 27 September) takes the paddlers north from Calumet Harbor on the far south side of Chicago to Leone Beach on the north side. At this time of year, the prevailing south winds should make this an outstanding downwind race.
