This is where I always launch from and on Tuesday we had an unexpected visitor we hadn't seen for 5 years. There are no surf skis in the video but most of you are as interested in the sea as I am.
It is speeded up 8x and shows the force of a +-1m wave.
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing! I was surprised how stealthy the wave is at sea. Its really only detectable before landfall by watching it hit the shore line on the left of the shot as it approaches the inlet.
For some reason I figured it would look like more of a traditional wave, but I guess it makes sense. The wave is very long and shallow
