Counting Stroke Rate

Counting Stroke Rate was created by DrA5
This may come across as one of those "stupid questions", but when you refer to, and count, your stroke rate, are you counting just the strokes on one side (so a pair, one on each side becomes just "1"), or is each paddle stroke on each side counted?

Then.....what is your average stroke rate for "marathon" paddling of sessions in the 60-90+ min range?
