Hi Ole
I made my hip pad from 2 layers of 6,5 mm bed roll (Domyos) from Decatlhon, covered with nylon ripstop.

Hi Nilson,

thank you.

That's exactly what I need!
Will go shopping today and see if I can make similar pads for myself.

Ole

Hello fellow paddlers. I have attached a photo of my hip pads I made for my epic v10.
I bought motor cycle hip pad inserts placed a layer of neoprene on either side taped them up with cloth tape and attached them with Velcro strips. They work really well and I have had no issue with them coming off.

Hi Nielson & LaPerouser,

I finally made some pads, slim, lengthy but that's all I need. Works perfect and gives me that snug feeling which I was missing with the Evo II. I took it out this morning for the first time with the pads and had a fantastic time - I already has the intention to sell the ski. Stew from Think Kayaks (Australia) also gave me some good advise regarding the set-up and the combination of both just made my day.

I used an old "swimming" board - one uses for swim training - and cut about 4mm of each side, used double-sided tape - time will tell if it will lasts.

Many thanks for all the advise!
