Epic V5 Composite or Stellar S14S excel

which is better for catching small waves close to shore and having fun. Need a light small ski. Epic V5 composite or the Stellar S14S excel.

I have not paddled the S14S but have a lot of time in a V5 Ultra.  I have fallen in love with this size kayak.  As Boyan has demonstrated so well in Tarifa, the V5 can ride the waves as effectively as practically any other boat.

i considered the s14s before i bought my V5 with it's thru bottom surf rudder.  to me it's more responsive in the waves than the stellar's stern mount.  there's videos on the Epic V5 surfski owners group facebook page
