For those that have paddled both - Epic V10 G2 vs Epic V10 G3 - is the new one more/less stable than the old one ?

I'm paddling a G3 shortly but have the option of a G2 on the cheap too. However, I;d rather go with the more stable of the two as a priority (I'm bridging up from a V8 Pro). Any advice welcomed.

The V10 gen 3 is more stable than gen 2, but I agree that primary stability maybe less on flat water because of rocker.
It's shorter, with more rocker, a different experience all together.

I find the G3 more stable. I did not like the G2. I do however like the G3.

Others say the opposite, it probably depends on a few things.

For example, I felt the v8pro to be very slightly less stable than a V10sport, but I'm around 70kg, someone who's 90kg+ could have a different experience etc.

Don't buy a gen 2 v10. Too idiosyncratic. Great on the flat. Fast and stable. Will not catch small runs. Gets faster as it gets bigger, but the lack of rocker makes it hard work in side chop and confused seas. I got so frustrated with mine. One paddle, I'd be 100 metres in front, the next 200 metres behind and if it was rough I'd just give up. Just too dependant on the right conditions to work.
