Blade shape differences and expectations

The Orka Bmin has quite a lot of cant/offset

I tried a canoesport paddle that is a copy of an older braca design, I think a B4. That had a lot of twist. Bigger blade than my Gamma Rio medium minus but felt 'mushy' in the water and had a tendency to dive under the boat if I wasn't careful.

I paddled an Epic mid wing for several years, then tried the Jantex Rio Med Minus a couple years ago. The difference for me was night and day. The catch was far more solid. With the solid catch I'd recommend a softer shaft.  YMMV
