Hi,

I've been offered a Red7 Surf 70 for basically nothing - $450 but I cant find too much detail on them. I'm thinking it might work for a flat water boat and be cheap enough so that I can still get a new V8, Bluefin etc to learn downwind.

Just a simple question if anyone knows - on a Epic scale would it have more or less stability than a V10Sport. I know there are variables but just as a broad comparison.

Thanks in advance.

If it's that cheap, I Say you get it now and figure it out later.

At worst you sell it for a profit after you decide its not for you

At best you got a nice boat for cheap. I think rob has an old review on here too

Thanks Mclmes, I was thinking the same thing. I did see a great review from Rob but it was for the Surf70Pro which I think is a little different to the Surf 70. I’ve asked for measurements - we’ll see.
