I guess this is a long shot on this board, but living in Japan and looking to get into the sport. Any links to second hand skiis would be greatly appreciated.

Not living in Japan nowadays so don't have any current info for you but here are some links which might help:

www.surfskisupply.com/contact/contact.htm

scofits.com/

www.kawaspo.com/kss/hanbai/hanbai.html

www.chottokogu.com/

Also if you are in Tokyo maybe try asking at ICI Sports in Harajuku. They are not ski paddlers but they are paddlers.

Good luck !

Thanks for taking the time to send those links. I have subsequently found the Epic dealer here in Japan, so will try there first. Given that it snowed yesterday, I have a little time before getting in the water... even with a drysuit.

Give me a shout if you ever come down to Okinawa. I`ve only got some old spec skis to use, but you`re still welcome to have a go if you`re visiting!
