Visiting Brisbane in June

Greetings fellow paddlers. I'll be visiting Brisbane for a couple of weeks starting mid-June. While there, I thought I would try to get in a few paddles. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to hire a surfski and where? I'm still learning and can only surf what I'm sure you think are ripples but willing to try bigger stuff since the water's warmer. I have an Epic V10 Sport. I'll be staying on Herschel St. in Brisbane. As I'm from the US, you probably don't want me driving your roads, so a place close to public transit would be preferable.

I don't know of anywhere to hire a ski in the area but contact some of the canoe clubs. They often have come and try days and might have a spare boat or two. As the time gets closer message me. Time permitting I might be able to arrange something - I have a spare Spirit PRS - better than nothing.

Probably best to bring your own stuff if you can, I have an old 210cm Multisport Kiwi paddle, not the greatest but it does work. I maybe on the Gold Coast that weekend as well. Give me a call when you get into town and we will sort something out
