Hi

French I just moved to Coogee. After 1 month I still haven't seen anybody putting in there. Any specific things I should know before launching from there knowing that I have little experience in ocean but a long history in kayaking (river and flat water racing) ?
Anybody leaving in the area willing to paddle regularly? I expect paddling ocean ski for fitness;)
See you soon on the water I hope

Sharks mate.... big **** off Sharks!!!

:P

You won't find many, if any, guys putting in along the beaches in the East. Most paddle on the harbour. Coogee Surf Club don't have many ski paddlers at the moment, so you won't even see much spec ski action.

We have paddled out of coogee tue thu sat 6:30am for summer, but finished up for the season as a couple of the guys are away. Now paddling on the harbour again. Send me an email and well go for a paddle @ coogee.

The shore break at the North end tends to be kinder on skis than the south end.
