I have a couple of mates who are about to import a couple of carbon Zeplin's. They are concerned about the claimed 14.5 kg weight. Has anyone owned a carbon Zeplin? What was the weight of your boat?
Thanks

Probably a lot less than a lead one! Sorry, I had to go there.

Personally I think Big Al is being fussy. Worrying that his supposed 14.5 kg boat may weigh 16 kg is a bit ironic when his 100kg body weighs 130kg. But if you're going to go to the trouble of importing a boat, I suppose there is a certain amount of apprehension. What this means is that if you are a big boned paddler (fat), live in Perth and actually want a boat that you can be fast in , Al's old Zeplin will be available to try soon.

Come on there must be a Saffa out there somewhere that has encountered a carbon Zeplin. Starting to think it is the unicorn of surfskis.
