Paddler set up for a DOUBLE ski

Just wondering if there was any "formula" out there for paddler set up in a double surfski. For instance: do you want a stronger paddler up front, or someone who can judge lines and keep a decent pace set? I have a lady paddler who I will paddle with, but I'm double her weight- stick me up front to tip us over the runs??
Any advise would be great- thanks

Stronger and heavier paddle in the front. Skills on taking runs can be given from the back seat. The front guy will use at least 10% more effort.

Doubles paddling is technique based - timing and stroke rate (long and strong) are key.

I often see two average single paddlers in a double suddenly racing up front. Absolute joy when a doubles pair clicks.

Enjoy

Just like antonsa posted. Heavier and stronger up front. And don't worry it will not tips over the runs :)
