3 Does not seem to be the magic number here in Auz? Could anyone show and tell how to do a 3 ski, car shuffle - legally? Photos would be great.

Not sure I understand the question - because my suggestion is to buy wider bars for your racks (70" or so wide) so that you can hold three or four skis across.
