Mako 6 footwell

I have just purchased a second hand Mako 6, and the foot strap holder in the footwell is pressing into the side of my foot and it is quite uncomfortable, are there any suggestions how to fix this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar issue with my mako 6.

It dug in enough to start wearing away a whole in my skin.

The bolt used to fix the side of the footstrap to the ski hadn't quite been cut off clean.

A quick fix that has lasted 2 years was to wrap the end of the strap that was pushing into the side of my foot in gaffer tape and the smoother surface was enough to stop the problem.

Cheers Keith, I tried wetsuit booties yesterday and it seemed to work ok but I will give the gaffer tape a go.
