Thanks for posting. For surfski nerds like me it's hard to find the information. For such a major event there is very little coverage. Hope to see some pics or videos posted soon.

One of the challenges for me is that Hawaii is 12 time zones away so it's difficult to get hold of the paddlers.  Even there, the nature of the race, with its huge distances makes it difficult.

Ocean Paddler TV did some ad-hoc live streaming on their Facebook page, with commentary by Tim Altman.  If history is anything to go by, they'll produce an awesome video in the next few weeks/months.

Early in the race they had a drone up, but it was "down" (not sure whether it ran out of batteries or went into the drink) for the final stage - but Tim recorded the last couple of km when Hank and Cory were dicing past China Wall and to the finish.  The waves were massive, Hank caught one that Cory didn't then fell off, but managed to remount quick enough to stay ahead and ended up beating Cory as we all know.  Exciting stuff.
