Ocean versus Estuary... Ski's vs K1's. The "Duel"

Just became aware of this race, as I'm running outta time to be fit for the Doctor race this looks like a suitable goal for me and looks like a lotta fun too in an area I get to train in frequently.

Dubbed the Mandurah Duel , Ocean versus Estuary it will pitt the sleek fast K1 and flat water boats against those who like to take thier chances on the Ocean...who knows, there may even be ski paddlers taking the Estuary route if the wind is up enough



There are plans for an Expo as well...

Manufacturers....please encourage your distributors to get behind this, would be great to see all the boats available in Perth in the one place

Just been announced that this is becoming a world cup event! Great to race against some of the worlds best paddlers in our own backyard!!!

It'll be great to have this event and the Dr within the same week. Not sure if I'll be up to doing it on the ski so may have to stick with the sup for another year.
