another think nitro "review", would really like to how it compares to the bit wider, bit shorter V7, looks nicely equipped, but faster? > see vids above on flat water, looks in some sequences as if the larger rocker slows down ...

seems that the chinese PE surfski of Liker Kayak, China , see posting #27204 above

is marketed at least under WET-Elements Surfski OneWind 505 ... price? 40% less than the other brands

Recommended Retail Price is 1199 euros for the Chinese model. I don't see how that's 40% off other brands like Think or Nelo that are about 1350 euros.

I went by thumb from the epic/think prices here at 1300-1395 Euros , you could also add the price of the additional kick up rudder and there you are+-

photofr, where did you get your 1200 Euro prices from for the Nelo 510 PE?
In Germany it seems to be around 1399 Euros. In France it seems also the Nitro and V7 is in the range I posted in prev. post.

As far as I know, no one has confirmed prices for the 510... well, just not quite yet.

The Nelo 510 is the newest Polyethylene surfski on the market. It’s 515x53cm. It is made in France. We are talking orders right now, but the first ones should be available in the first couple of weeks of January.

In comparison, the Nelo 520 is 520x51cm.

Goupe rotomod, to which the manufacturer belongs indicates a length of 510cm and width of 52 cm (as Nelo did if I am remember correctly). Would com in 3 colours add. to white. Double layer PE.

I don't doubt that you saw this on the Rotomod site. However, I asked someone at Nelo Portugal to measure the 510 PE.

Against a wall, the 510 is 515cm long.
Its widest point is 53cm.

For what it's worth, 5 out of the 5 people I spoke to have told me that hands down, the new 510PE is more stable than the 520. To me, that's great news for total beginners who were seeking a little more stability.

My next goal is placing the new 510 against couple of other popular PE skis in the area and provide photos and feedback. I just have to be patient, but will let you know.

At 22kg of course it's more stable compared to a 11kg 520
.. and hands down, I'd guess it's heavier, at least twice as heavy.

Whatever, there are now 3 thermoplastic surfkis made in Europe, that is great.

These "low" prices even allow to me order one and see if I keep the V7 or the 510 as my winterboat and sell the other one 2nd hand, which is much easier in this price category in the surfski diaspora where I live.

Main point for me w.b. a higher seating position, as sofar I feel I need to raise it in the V7, see comment section:
