Viewers from all over the planet followed the live Championchip GPS positions at the Durban World Cup two weeks ago - now they're at the North Sea Championships - where Oscar and Herman Chalupsky will challenge Europe's top surfski paddlers...

The North Sea Outrigger Canoe and Surfski Championships, to be held on 11th to 13th July 2008, is expected to see record numbers of paddlers.  The race is in its fifth year and has seen surfski participation steadily growing...

Epic's General Manager (Europe), Boyan Zlatarev, provide his view of the recently held Hawaiian Sports Festival and German Cup (DKV). Official results provided by the race organisers and the photographs were taken by Fabrice Brulin (except where noted) from Tahiti who was there to promote Va'a Tahiti Outrigger boats.

"Hawaiian Sports Festival" - sun and sand somewhere in the Pacific?  Not this one!  This one was held on 15^th-17^th June 2007 at Rerik, Germany on the Baltic sea...

Unfortunately we only found out about the event after it had happened - but here's the story.

One of the things we enjoy most about running Surfski.info is that we get to talk to paddlers all over the world.  And it's incredibly exciting to see how the sport is taking off, worldwide.  There are races being started all over from Dubai (in its second year now), to the Caribbean, Malaysia, you name it.

We've just had news of two new events being staged in Europe: the Irish Sea Ski Challenge and the North Sea OC and Surfski Championships.
