I've had a quick paddle in a demo ski and plan to again when time permits.

Has anyone any comments?

Awesome ski. Outstanding build quality. You won't be disappointed with this ski. It is more for a beginner & not for very tall people though. If you're an intermediate paddler & tall, look at the BLU or G40 also by Knysna racing.

A ski for all, or a ski for small?

There are a few comments on the Swordfish thread that most of the Genius skis are for smaller paddlers. Is the CLK designed/best for smaller paddlers?

Just to clarify...
The GENiUS range started with the G20 which was a racing boat aimed at the smaller framed serious paddler.
All the other boats in the range, which include the CLK (entry to lower intermediate), the BLU(intermediate), and the G40 (full size racing) and the G42(for two)racing double have been aimed at ALL paddlers, not just the small framed...

Great ski for beginners and have had a few test it out and they get going immediately. It is also a great ski for the older or larger intermediate paddler.Faster then a Fenn xt but just as stable. If anyone would like to try the CLK look out for the Genius ski,s before the the Varsity College Race at Marine on Friday and come and try it.

Yeah, and define "older".
Past skis: Spirit PRS, EpicV10Sport Performance, Epic V10 Elite, Stellar SES Advantage. Current skis: Fenn Elite Spark, Fenn Swordfish vacuum. Custom Horizon, Epic V7

Here is a pic of the Genius Blu intermediate ski then the Genius CLK (see the wide seat and space) the Genius 20 racing ski for smaller paddler.

Well there's one boat I won't be buying; shows my age and my bum looks big in it!

See the Genius Clk in the middle and how spacious it is. The the Blu (intermediate racer) on one side and the G20 for smaller paddler on the other.
