DD3 paddles

Hi there, I'm getting into surf skiing and am looking for a carbon paddle. I've come across the DD3 carbon paddle for (what seems to be) $299 which seems a very good price.
Has anyone used these paddles that can give me some advice, too good to be true or a great deal?
