Paddled the SE,which I believe has the same hull/stability as SEL?,and the XL. I'd say the stability and speed is comparable. XL cockpit is smaller with narrower catch. I suspect SE cockpit would hold a lot of water and take some time to drain. I was excited about the swordfish when it came out,but,when I saw it realized it didn't have enough volume for me. Everyone seems to rave about it.
