We're considering starting a column on the site called, "The Adventures of Oscar the Paddler"... Yep, he's at it again. Oscar Chalupsky is on a European tour to visit the Epic dealers (and to create new ones). Last seen in Wales, he's re-surfaced (briefly) in Sweden where he joined the local "Dawn Patrol" in a warm (0-2degrees Centigrade) paddle with some of the best Adventure Racers in the world.

The King of the Harbour, one of the most prestigious surf ski races in the international calendar, is a two-day event held on North Island, New Zealand. The results from the three-man relay event on day 1 are combined with the individual event on day 2 to compute the team and individual titles.
While it's impossible to say who's the best surf ski paddler in the world, it's fair to say that the short list would include Oscar Chalupsky and Dawid Mocke.
On the Surfski newsgroup there's been much discussion recently about how the northern hemisphere is approaching winter. The denizens of the far north are discussing the finer points of dry suits, hypothermia and the benefits of slipstreaming icebreakers...
