Looking at buying a red7 surf60 and am wondering when they first appeared as the shape of the deck of the ski Im looking at seems different from all the photo's I have seen while searching around the web. I am happy for any info on these skis. Cheers Greg

Not quite sure what the differences to the 70 series are, but i got into a 70 series Green7 a few month's ago and, while not without some challenges adjusting from my intermediate ski, I have improved quite a bit in efficiency. The seating arrangement is very comfortable and allows for optimum balance and power equation. Whatever they changed from the 60 to the 70 series, the basic design offers a lot to the lighter paddler addicted to downwinds! So at least have a trial paddle!

Greg, Nico

AFAIK the Surf 60 was a beginner to intermediate ski while the Pro 70 is an intermediate to elite level ski.

The Surf 60 has also a smaller nose and is shorter also.
